Telegram
Automatically open a prefilled Telegram message or chat when the user taps the ticket, creating a fast, trackable way for guests to engage or request support.
Step 1: Create Your Telegram Trigger
Begin by creating a new trigger inside the Wardrobe Manager automation dashboard. Choose AppLaunch URL as the action. This defines what happens when the guest taps their ticket inside Apple Wallet.
Step 2: Select Telegram as the Launch App
From the available integrations, select
Telegram. Telegram supports deep links using
the tg:// and https://t.me/ formats,
allowing you to send users directly into chats, channels, or
bots with minimal friction.
Step 3: Choose Your Telegram Destination
Enter the link you'd like to open when the ticket is tapped. Telegram supports several types of destinations:
-
Open a chat with a user or business:
https://t.me/yourusername -
Open a channel:
https://t.me/yourchannel -
Open a bot:
https://t.me/yourbot -
Prefill a message to a bot (common use
case):
https://t.me/yourbot?start=yourpayload
This makes Telegram especially powerful for automated guest flows such as check-ins, support requests, surveys, or loyalty actions.
Step 4: Save and Activate the Trigger
After configuring the destination, save and activate your trigger. All newly generated tickets using this workflow will instantly support tap-to-Telegram behavior.
Result: Fast, Automated Guest Communication
When guests tap their ticket, Telegram opens directly at your selected chat, channel, or bot—optionally with predefined data. This creates an immediate and trackable interaction point, ideal for venues that rely on Telegram for support, automation, or community engagement.
