Messenger

Launch a prefilled Messenger chat on ticket tap, creating a seamless and trackable guest interaction.

Step 1: Create Your Messenger Trigger

Begin by setting up a new trigger inside the Wardrobe Manager automation dashboard. Choose AppLaunch URL as the action type, which defines what happens when a guest taps their ticket inside Apple Wallet.

Step 2: Select Messenger as the Launch App

From the list of available integrations, pick Messenger. This allows your ticket to open Facebook Messenger via a deep link designed to start a conversation instantly. For venues that frequently use Messenger for customer support, table bookings, guest inquiries, or social engagement, this provides a fast, familiar, and high-response communication channel.

Step 3: Prefill the Chat Details

Enter the Facebook Page username or Messenger link (such as m.me/yourpagename) along with the predefined message you want to appear when the chat opens. This message might guide guests to ask a question, confirm attendance, submit feedback, or redeem a promotion. When the ticket is tapped, Messenger opens with your message ready to send - boosting response rates and keeping communication friction-free.

Step 4: Save and Activate the Trigger

Once everything is configured, save your setup and enable the trigger. Any new ticket tied to this workflow will automatically open Messenger with your prefilled chat template on tap.

Result: Fast, Familiar Guest Communication

When guests tap their ticket, Messenger launches instantly with your preset message active, making it effortless for them to engage. For venues already using Messenger as part of their communication or marketing strategy, this creates a smooth, trackable, and highly effective way to connect with guests.
